The gig economy will bring many challenges to HR. Are you ready?

As the “gig economy” continues to become an area of interest for millennials and other worker age groups, we must prepare for the intricacies that come with hiring contingent workforce.  Specially in states like our’s (California), where employee rights are very strong, leadership must make sure companies are not infringing on people’s employment rights.  Do you currently know what the federal or your state’s standard test is to determine a worker’s classification? HR will need to adjust hiring practices to ensure no worker misclassification.
