Director of Recruitment

Renee brings 15+ years of progressive staffing experience in the areas of Administrative, Human Resources and Accounting.

She started her HR career while working for Nike as an Operations Manager and Store Grand Opening Team Leader.  While at Nike she supported recruitment, HRIS, on boarding, new hire orientation, systems support, payroll and much more.

After leaving Nike, she started her career with a publicly traded company where she staffed solely Accounting/Finance related positions.  She was quickly promoted to Division Director supporting Administrative, Customer Service and Human Resource Placement.  During her tenure in said company, she was awarded Top Sales Performer 2 times placing within the top 3% of the company under this position.

Due to her Human Resources background and successful career, Renee was approached to launch the new HR Services Division for the company.  As the Vice President of HR Services Bay Area Division, Renee and her team supported all levels of HR placements on a contract, contact-to-hire and direct hire basis.  These placements included not only Core HR functions, but also Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, Training and Recruitment.  While managing the HR Services Division Renee was awarded Top Sales Performer another 3 times obtaining #2 in the World for year-over-year growth in team and personal revenue.

As Director of Recruitment for Nortia Staffing, Renee is eager to bring her passion and extensive knowledge of the Human Resources and Administrative Staffing in the Bay Area to our company.  She is excited to continue to assist candidates in furthering their careers, as well as, helping clients find the best talent for their teams.  Renee is also a member of the NCHRA and is a Chair Member of the NCHRA East Bay Chapter.

Ruben brings 10+ years of experience within the Administrative, Customer Service, Human Resources and Technology industries.

Ruben started his career in retail supporting several different publicly traded retail companies such as Home Depot, Sports Authority and Nike.   Within these organizations Ruben held a variety of management positions which involved on boarding, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, reporting, matrix analytics, inventory and much more.

After departing the retail industry, Ruben started a career within the Technology field for Hologic as a Technical Support Engineer and Department Quality Assurance Analyst.  Within this position, Ruben was responsible for technical support inquiries, as well as, analyzing the department’s compliant statistics to ensure the highest level of quality assurance and emerging possible areas of product improvement.

At Nortia Staffing, we are fortunate to have Ruben as our Director of Operations as he brings a vast knowledge of Operations, customer support and quality assurance.

Recruiting Manager

Kenneth brings 15+ years of experience within the Administrative, Customer Service, Human Resources and Staffing industries.

He started his career at the Northern California Human Resources Association (NCHRA). As program manager, he managed over 200 HR programs annually and managed the PHR/SPHR and SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preparation courses. He also launched the organization’s first ever online certification preparation courses and e-Learning programs.

He then moved on to work as an Events and Communication Specialist at a benefits brokerage company where he collaborated with clients in designing collateral/intranet pages for internal HR events such as Open Enrollment and benefit fairs. He also represented the company at HR conventions and moderated e-Learning programs on various HR topics.

In his next role, he worked as a Staffing Executive at a publicly traded staffing company where he staffed Accounting and Finance positions and managed a group of full-time consultants.

Now at Nortia Staffing, he is eager to bring his experience, knowledge and passion for helping others to the company. His goal is to always ensure that the needs of candidates and clients are met with the highest priority and standards. Providing the highest level of customer service and building long lasting relationships is a top priority.

Luzon has over 8 years of experience in the Staffing Space. She began her career as an Engineering recruiter in Chicago and quickly developed a strong passion for the field. After relocating to San Francisco, she joined a publicly traded global staffing firm specializing in Office, Administrative, HR, Finance, and Accounting roles. Her dedication and exceptional performance led to her noteworthy achievement of qualifying for the President’s Club within her first year. One of the key factors contributing to her success was her ability to establish connections with new clients in the highly competitive Bay Area market.

Later, Luzon transitioned to work as an Internal Recruiter for two multimillion dollar tech companies. In one of her roles, she took on the position of a “Subject Matter Expert,” utilizing her expertise to significantly contribute to the team’s overall productivity.

Now, at Nortia Staffing, Luzon is thrilled to apply her extensive experience and passionate approach to building relationships and achieving successful placements. Influenced by her Asian-American heritage, her diverse background has granted her a deep understanding and appreciation for connecting with individuals.
