Director of Recruitment

Renee brings 15+ years of progressive staffing experience in the areas of Administrative, Human Resources and Accounting.

She started her HR career while working for Nike as an Operations Manager and Store Grand Opening Team Leader.  While at Nike she supported recruitment, HRIS, on boarding, new hire orientation, systems support, payroll and much more.

After leaving Nike, she started her career with a publicly traded company where she staffed solely Accounting/Finance related positions.  She was quickly promoted to Division Director supporting Administrative, Customer Service and Human Resource Placement.  During her tenure in said company, she was awarded Top Sales Performer 2 times placing within the top 3% of the company under this position.

Due to her Human Resources background and successful career, Renee was approached to launch the new HR Services Division for the company.  As the Vice President of HR Services Bay Area Division, Renee and her team supported all levels of HR placements on a contract, contact-to-hire and direct hire basis.  These placements included not only Core HR functions, but also Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, Training and Recruitment.  While managing the HR Services Division Renee was awarded Top Sales Performer another 3 times obtaining #2 in the World for year-over-year growth in team and personal revenue.

As Director of Recruitment for Nortia Staffing, Renee is eager to bring her passion and extensive knowledge of the Human Resources and Administrative Staffing in the Bay Area to our company.  She is excited to continue to assist candidates in furthering their careers, as well as, helping clients find the best talent for their teams.  Renee is also a member of the NCHRA and is a Chair Member of the NCHRA East Bay Chapter.

Ruben brings 10+ years of experience within the Administrative, Customer Service, Human Resources and Technology industries.

Ruben started his career in retail supporting several different publicly traded retail companies such as Home Depot, Sports Authority and Nike.   Within these organizations Ruben held a variety of management positions which involved on boarding, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, reporting, matrix analytics, inventory and much more.

After departing the retail industry, Ruben started a career within the Technology field for Hologic as a Technical Support Engineer and Department Quality Assurance Analyst.  Within this position, Ruben was responsible for technical support inquiries, as well as, analyzing the department’s compliant statistics to ensure the highest level of quality assurance and emerging possible areas of product improvement.

At Nortia Staffing, we are fortunate to have Ruben as our Director of Operations as he brings a vast knowledge of Operations, customer support and quality assurance.

Recruiting Manager

Robert  brings over 25 years progressive Staffing Industry and In-House Recruiting experience to his role as Recruiting Manager.

Robert’s diverse experience in the Life Science, Pharma, Biotech, Technology and Financial service sectors has evolved into a well rounded recruiting methodology which makes Robert a fantastic recruiter!  He is able to draw from his vast experience and market knowledge to bring exceptional candidates to Nortia Staffing.

Robert started his career as a direct hire Administrative Staffing recruiter for a prominent San Francisco based boutique staffing agency.  After a decade of honing his recruiting skills, Robert left his role to embark on a new venture, as he was recruited to lead the development of a newly created Direct Hire Division for one of the largest privately held agencies in Northern California.  His success at launching and maintaining a successful team of recruiters in the Administrative division led Robert to spearhead another newly created Legal specialty division within his company. This period of Bob’s professional life presented another career opportunity to enter the LifeScience vertical placing Clinical Development and Regulatory Affairs professionals for companies ranging from Big Pharma to Biotech and Medical Device startups.  As his career progressed, Robert held key management positions with two of the largest publicly traded Staffing Agencies and also became the Director of Recruitment for a company specializing in the Financial Services in Banking industries. 

More importantly, Robert brings his amazing upbeat personality and a very meticulous eye for great talent!

Tricia brings over 20 years of progressive experience in the medical device, tech, staffing, and semiconductor industries, which enables her to have an amazing lens for talent.

Tricia began her career in the medical device and tech in customer support roles. It was here that she discovered her passion for helping people and problem solving was born.

After enjoying the startup and acquisition life, she moved on to a semiconductor company where she took on management roles and began developing a love for all things HR. As a front line manger, she had exposure to recruiting, new hire training, employee development, succession planning, performance management and terminations. This got her thinking seriously about a career change to HR. As luck would have it, within a week of enrolling in a Human Resources Management Graduate Certificate program, she was approached for a recruiting opportunity for a publicly traded company focusing on HR roles. In her first year, Tricia ranked #2 Rookie of the Year for her regional division. 

After nearly 2 years of recruiting for HR roles, she has learned her passion is in listening to candidates and clients alike, learning their needs and passions for their next role. The art of matching making, building relationships and her knowledge of HR is what drives her to success.

She currently studying for her PHR certification, which she anticipates in the Spring of 2020. She is a member of NCHRA. and we are so happy to have Tricia as a member of the Nortia Staffing family!
